Sunday

Tiredness characterizes today. Pattie's lack of energy is consistant with the aftermath of the chemotherapy we have been told. She is resting after having a husband cooked meatloaf dinner. (With any luck, we both might survive!) It was not as fancy or sophisticated as the meals which your generousity have brought our way, and we thank you so much for those. Yesterday was a chest x-ray and again tomorrow to monitor the fluid buildup and its location. Again, thank you for your many kindnesses and expressions of concern and hope.

  1. Hi Willie and Pattie,
It was good to see Willie this morning, Pattie, and I am glad you were resting. Willie, congratulations on meatloaf! I actually think it is one of the harder dishes...I continuously look for a better recipe! I know Pattie is proud of you! I hope tomorrow brings good results when they test for fluids, Pattie. And, I hope you will continue to rest as you need to.
How does Tuesday sound if my delivery guy brings your ironing? If he gives you any static, give him some more and I'll teach him how too! No hurry to deliver though...we'll be in town again on Friday for sure.
    Love,
    pat

  2. Dear Friends,
I can imagine how tiring all of this is for you both, and I'm impressed that husband meatloaf is a new part of Willie's repertoire!
You two are such an inspiration to all of us.
We are planning to leave for Colorado next Saturday, so we should be in Boulder Sunday afternoon. We hope to see you both soon. Have a list of tasks ready for me so I can begin to help! Much love, Judy
