Other Saturday Highlights
Pattie and I were further encouraged and supported by 1)a visit from Kurt, Barb, Megan and Ethan who stopped by on their way to Colorado Springs to spend Easter with Barb's family. Also, 2)Peter's call while in the midst of dying Easter eggs with Hayley, Delia, and Spencer. Heather was out running, practicing for an upcoming marathon, and Peter was surviving being "Mr. Mom". Having been with them last month, it is one of life's great pleasures to see how and how much Peter and Heather love their little tribe.

Happy Easter, Pattie and Willie - even though I posted a message last night for Easter, it is Easter morning and just wanted to say it again. Willie was up even later than I was last night.
ReplyDeletePattie = I hope you got a good night's rest and will have another better day.
The Tomb Was Empty! Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. Romans 14:9
He is Risen --- Jerolyn
happy Easter to both of you, Pattie and Willie. So glad to hear of the progress and possible return to Boulder. Go Pattie go!!!! So great to hear/see all of your grands yesterday too- I know how much you treasure all of them. I am off to early church and will continue to pray and think of you- and smile at your progress. love Karen
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter again!!
ReplyDeleteIt was good to see that you had solid food!! I hope your Easter Day has been a wonderful one for you. Easter, with all its meanings of new life and new beginnings, I hope that your short walks are giving you more strength and new energy. May your roses with thorns turn into Easter Lilies reflecting the hope that you now have.
We have just returned from Amarillo visiting Pat Eads. She had a stroke on Monday and is hoping to move to therapy Tuesday. She ate her first meal tonight while we were there. Her speech is affected but she is being a real trooper and is not giving up. Keep her in your prayers.
You continue to be in our prayers as we hope you get to make it home soon. By the way, my "you" is plural:)
We love you two.
